Cake Smash Prep Guide

Happy birthday! Here are some helpful tips for preparing for your Cake Smash & Splash session.

What to bring:

  1. Two outfits for your baby. One to smash their cake in and another for the family photos. You are welcome to bring a few options and I can help you choose when you arrive.

  2. Snacks and milk for your baby. We'll use them if we need them.

  3. Whatever makes them laugh and smile. However, nothing that will make them cry if we don't give it to them or if we need to take it away.

  4. A towel to dry your baby off in after their bath.

  5. The clothes you want to wear for your family images. (We do those last and you'll probably get cake on you and get a bit wet.) Feel free to change just before your family photos.

Sitter Prep Guide

Welcome to this huge milestone! Here are some helpful tips for preparing for Sitter Session.

What to bring:

  1. Three to five outfits. We will do as many as your baby will allow. We'll also do some naked shots and some peak-a-boo shots.

  2. Bottles and a pacifer, if your baby takes them.

  3. Whatever makes them laugh and smile. However, nothing that will make them cry if we don't give it to them or if we need to take it away.

  4. The clothes you want to wear for your family images. You may come dressed already or change here.

 

Maternity Prep Guide

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Here are some helpful tips for preparing for your maternity session.

What to bring:

  1. Touch up makeup: Feel free what you need to reapply, remove shine, etc.

  2. Gowns & Clothing: Please feel free to bring a few options and we can decide when you arrive. You can also choose from our maternity closet.

  3. If you would like to wear one of our maternity gowns or body suits: Please bring, a nude bra and a black bra, & a nude thong and a black thong. If you have nipple covers, you are welcome to bring those too.

  4. Hair: Anything you'd like to put your hair up or back with.


Underwater Maternity Prep Guide

If you are adding underwater to your session please also bring the following items.

  1. Wear only waterproof mascara. You can do the rest of your makeup when you arrive.
    We will spray your face lightly with hairspray just before your session. This will help it stay on.

  2. A towel if you prefer to use your own. We do have some for your here as well.

  3. If you wear contacts and do not feel comfortable opening your eyes underwater with them in, please bring your contact case and solution.

  4. Anything we discussed as far as what you will be wearing.
